RYE BAY SCALLOP WEEK COMPETITION RESULTS

   

THE BEST RYE BAY SCALLOP RECIPE - An original recipe idea, using Rye Bay scallops, judged by a Rye chef, the best recipes will be included on the website with a credit.

THINGS TO DO WITH A SCALLOP SHELL - The most original idea for using a scallop shell.  Include a photo or sketch if you can.

Winner - Duncan Shaw, aged 12 years of Crowborough, East Sussex for his original idea - Using two scallop shells as salad servers for a seafood salad.

A SCALLOP THEMED WINDOW DISPLAY - Decorate your shop or business window.  Judging will take place 20-26 Feb.

Winner - Neame Designs Ltd, Tower Street, Rye for their seashore colour themed window using papers, paints and pencils and a mini Venus arising from lovely handmade scallop shells a la Botticelli's painting.

Create a Scallop Sauce Competition run by Rye Community College and sponsored by Webbes at the Fish Cafe.
